Primary School

We aim to give children a smooth transition to whichever primary school they go to but we work closely with Whimple Primary School.  

We have close links with Whimple Primary School as it is located next door to Pre-School.  In the Summer Term the Reception class teachers visit preschool to get to know the children who are due to start school and in July the children are able to spend a morning in their new class which helps to prepare them for their next step.    The children will have their packed lunches in the school hall on a few occasions accompanied by a preschool staff member so that they can get used to the new environment.
