Our Latest Ofsted Inspection was in June 2019. Please see report below. We received a judgement of 'Inadequate' which we are very disappointed with. This was due to recording and monitoring systems and actions have been taken already to put this right and we are due to be re-inspected within 6 months. We feel strongly that the judgment does not reflect the care and education that the children receive. For the quality of teaching and learning and outcomes for children, we received a 'Good' judgement.
We would like to draw your attention to some of the strengths that Ofsted identify - “Staff are kind and caring, and support children’s emotional well-being effectively. Children are happy and enjoy spending time at the pre-school.” “The manager and staff identify any emerging gaps in children’s learning and provide support where necessary, particularly for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.” “Staff prepare children well for their next stage of learning and eventual move to school.” "Staff have developed effective two-way partnerships with parents and other settings attended by children. They provide parents with regular information about their children's progress. Parents are complimentary about the pre-school. They speak positively about how well staff meet the needs and interests of their children."
