Fees and Funding
Fees
Our unfunded hours fees are currently £6.50 for 2 year olds and £6.00 for 3 and 4 year olds. 'Flexi rate' for adhoc sessions if space allows is £7.00 per hour. These fees relate to hours not funded by EYEF as detailed below. Please see our fees policy (10.12) for further details on payment.
Early Years Entitlement Funding – for all children from 3 years
In the term following your child’s third birthday, you will be eligible for 15 hours per week free childcare funded by Devon County Council.
If you choose to use these hours at pre-school, we will arrange this for you.
Funding for eligible working families - 15 Hours for 2 year olds and 30 Hours for 3 and 4 year olds
Check the Government's Childcare Choices website to see what childcare funding you are entitled to: Childcare Choices
We can accept 15 hour or 30 hour funding codes which can be shared with other settings. We are currently open for 26 hours per week. You must make the application the term before you wish to start receiving the funding and you can apply up to 16 weeks before your child turns three. It you are eligible, you'll receive an 11-digit code which you then take to your childcare provider along with your national insurance number and child's date of birth. Funding codes need to be renewed by parents every 3 months.
Some parents of 2-year-old children may also be entitled to 15 hours childcare support, if they receive some additional forms of government support. Please note, if you’re eligible for both the working entitlement and the 15 hours for families receiving support, you cannot take up both offers, and should apply for the 15 hours for families receiving support. You can do this by contacting your local authority.
